The Cupcake Shoppe is a small bakery located on Glenwood Avenue in downtown Raleigh.
We just ordered a cake here for a coworker’s Wedding Shower.
The New Yorker – Delicious icing. Best bakery we have found.
The Raleigh-ite – They did a great job decorating the cake. The cake was very good, very rich. Great buttercream icing. Not exactly cheap– $2.75/cupcake.
Do over? Absolutely. Definitely go here if you are looking for a specialty bakery.
7/07/09: We ordered vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing on top and cookie icing in the middle to feed 20-25 people. Total : $68.35.
