Champa is located in the Brier Creek shopping center in Raleigh.
The New Yorker – The sushi is very fresh at Champa and the menu has good specialty rolls. Brier Creek shopping plaza is a great shopping center for a walk after dinner. Great spicy mayo–just like you get in NY.
Just as good as NY sushi.
The Raleigh-ite – Champa is one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. The Thai food and the Sushi are both delicious. We go to Champa all the time and have never had a bad meal. Sparse but classy atmosphere; don’t expect an intimate dinner. The Mexican roll is the perfect combination of flavor, spicy and crunchy. The Champa dragon roll is equally amazing. The Thai custard doesn’t look like much, but the coconut sticky rice underneath is sweet, soft and delicious. Perfect amount of sweetness for dessert.
Recommend: Mexican Roll & Pad Se-ew
Do over? Can’t wait to try many more items on Champa’s menu. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen looks and smells insanely delicious. Would definitely drive across town for this meal; as it is the drive for us is 15 minutes from where we live in Cary to Brier Creek in North Raleigh and we manage to make it to Champa at least once a month- if not more frequently!
