Bin 54 is located in the Glen Lennox shopping center near the intersection of Highway 54 and 15-501 in Chapel Hill.
The New Yorker- Bin 54 is a nice restaurant with a classy atmosphere. Presentation was very nice. I had the prime porterhouse; it was cooked how I wanted it. The sides were excellent– we had creamed spinach and twice baked potato. Their steaks on the menu are a mixture of USDA prime and Choice Black Angus.
The Raleigh-ite – We went here for Danny’s birthday with another couple. The waiters were very attentive. Excellent food. Awesome sides– the twice baked potato had tons of flavor. Great wine list. Homemade ice cream (they had 3 flavors, strawberry was the best) for dessert was delicious! Pricey.
Do over? Chapel Hill is a little too far for us, 30 minutes, but will be back if its a special occasion. If we lived in Chapel Hill, Bin 54 would definitely be our special occasion restaurant of choice! Since we live on the edge of Cary we go to Vinnie’s Steakhouse or Sullivan’s for a great steak.
